The Lifetime Achievement Award

Liakat and Nazira Hasham, CEO and Founders, CHD Living

Liakat and Nazira Hasham have been active, influential contributors to the Surrey community for four decades. They arrived in the UK as refugees in 1972 and ventured into their first care home in 1983. What began as a single 15-bed care home has evolved into a multi-service care operation with 16 registered services supporting over 700 individuals and employing 800 staff.

Their unwavering commitment has earned them numerous accolades and in addition the family founded the Adopt a Grandparent charity during the height of the pandemic to address loneliness among care residents
